GEELY Group
Geely’s scenario covers 7–22 kW AC chargers in homes and workplaces, where compact residual-current protection is critical. Magtron’s iFluxgate RCMUs deliver 6 mA DC detection with built-in self-test to reduce nuisance trips and ease IEC 61851/62955 compliance. Unified signaling and a small footprint simplify PCB layout and shorten time-to-market.
BYD
For bus and last-mile fleets, uptime matters across 22 kW AC posts and high-power DC cabinets. Magtron combines iFluxgate RCMUs (AC leakage detection) with high-reliability DC contact components for fast isolation and clear status feedback. The standardized protection layer streamlines maintenance, enables remote checks, and supports scalable depot expansion.
TOYOTA
Dealer networks typically deploy Level 1/2 wall units plus portable IC-CPD cords. Magtron’s slim, UL-ready RCMUs support CCID20 and 6 mA DC detection, with flexible outputs for straightforward controller integration. Consistent behavior and compact housings help accelerate compliant rollouts across multiple sites.

Our Core Technologies
Engineered magnetic cores with iFluxgate® design deliver low offset and temperature drift, fast response, and precise 6 mA DC residual-current detection for EV charging safety.
Our RCMUs use Magtron’s self-developed iFluxgate® sensing chip paired with a proprietary processing SoC that integrates self-test and fault logic in a compact 5V module—reducing BOM and simplifying EVSE design. Product pages specify “self-developed iFluxgate chip” and “self-developed processing chip,” confirming the in-house silicon stack. Company data also notes 10+ proprietary chips and sustained R&D investment.
Based on iFluxgate technology, the sensors measure AC/DC, pulsed, and irregular residual currents with primary–secondary isolation, low offset and temperature drift, and fast response—built for precise 6 mA DC detection (Type A+6 mA DC / Type B options) used in EV charging protection. Model specs show 6 mA DC thresholds and CCID20 variants across SM/SN families. These characteristics help minimize nuisance trips while meeting IEC/UL application needs.

Testimonials
What our clients say.

Magtron’s RCMUs hit 6 mA DC detection with low drift, so our chargers pass IEC/UL checks without nuisance trips. Reference designs and clear wiring notes cut our integration time by weeks. Samples arrived fast and matched mass-production performance.
Elena Martín — Hardware Lead, EVSE Manufacturer (EU)

Automotive-grade documentation (IATF 16949, PPAP, full traceability) gave our team confidence from pilot to scale. Batch consistency and calibration data have been rock-solid across multiple builds. Support is pragmatic—issues are resolved with root cause and preventive actions.
David Nguyen — Director of Power Electronics, Solar & Storage OEM (US)

Magtron collaborated on EMC and self-test logic, tailoring thresholds to our platform. The sensors maintain accuracy from −40 °C to +105 °C, reducing field returns and maintenance calls. Communication is quick, technical, and focused on results.
